Gnate was able to take time away from his hectic schedule and made it through a crowd of autograph seekers to sit down in the Sand Gnats front office and talk with us.

1st Inning
What was your "Welcome to Grayson Stadium" moment?
In 2005, Opening Day was the greatest day for me. I got to see (former Sand Gnats mascot) Gnic retire, and I was introduced as the new ambassador to Gnats baseball. I had a blast meeting my new friends. I just wish I could have worn a tuxedo like the other Gnats.

Do you ever talk to Gnic?
Of course! Gnic is my big brother, but he has been really busy lately traveling around the world with the Gnat Corps boycotting bug zappers.

3rd Inning
Tell us about your recent experience filming television commercials for the Sand Gnats.
I was a little disappointed that my hair and makeup person didn't show, but once we started rolling it was fun. I just let my witty charm and good looks take over, and I think it shows in the commercials.

4th Inning
What was it like being ejected from a game last season?
That was a bum call. The umpire was upset that I kicked dirt on his shoe. What was I suppose to do? I have a size 30 shoe! It was an accident. I had to watch the remainder of the game from a tiny window in my trailer.

Are you seeing anyone special?
I'm recovering from a recent breakup. I was dating an actress for awhile but my fame was too much for her. So I'm back on the market!

6th Inning
If you were the Sand Gnats owner, what is the first thing you would do?
There is so much I would do, first I would buy myself the sweet FourTrax Foreman Rubicon GPScape ATV Four Wheeler in black so I could ride around the stadium, but unfortunately I have to be 16 years old to drive it so I would have to hire a chauffeur to drive me around. Then, I would buy myself a new wardrobe since I currently only have 3 outfits. But most importantly I would have new offices built for my Gnat buddies and also build better batting cages for my Gnat hitters.

Where did you go to school?
I wanted to study Entomology at Gharvard, but when Gnic retired I decided to go into the family business instead, and I love it!

8th Inning
What are your hobbies?
I like to collect bubble gum wrappers and baseball cards. I don't like to litter either so I walk around Historic Grayson Stadium daily and make sure there is no trash on the field.

9th Inning Rally
Charlie T. Riverdog or the Augusta GreenJacket? Well, the GreenJacket is a bad dresser, and Charlie stole my ex-girlfriend Chelsea. So neither.
Peanuts or Cracker Jacks? Cracker Jacks! I love the prize at the end.
Orioles or Mets? Well the bird is a buddy of mine, but since we are an affiliate of the Mets, M-E-T-S! Mets! Mets! Mets!
